SAFE-FLOW VALVE air inlet valve

• Valve designed to allow high flow rate air admission when a pipe is subjected to depression, whether voluntary or accidental, in particular when opening a drain valve or maintenance operations on a section.
• Design: body incorporating a deflector optimizing air circulation.
• Performance: geometry of the body and cover designed to ensure high air flow rates while limiting pressure losses.
• Sealing: closure ensured by the self-weight of the cover, from 0.2 bar.
• Hydraulic optimization: specially profiled cone to promote the Venturi effect.
• Reliability: robust device, simple to operate and requiring no maintenance.
• Specific manufacturing: versions available on request in different materials, notably stainless steel and Super Duplex.
• Protection anti-corrosion by epoxy powder coating 250 Microns RAL 5015.

• Temperature maximum use: 0 to 70°C.
• Dimension and drilling of the connection flange according to standard EN 1092-2 and ISO 7005-2.
• The air inlet passage section is equal to the DN of the connection flange.

Function:

• Protection against depression: a drop in pressure in a water pipe under load, caused in particular by the closing of a valve, the stopping of pumping or the opening of a drain, can lead to significant damage: deformation or flattening of the pipeline, movement of joints, or even their suction.
• High flow rate air admission: in order to prevent these risks, the valve ensures rapid entry of air in sufficient quantity into the pipe. This admission makes it possible to limit the depression and preserve the integrity of the pipeline and its equipment.

Tests:

• Tests according to EN 1074-4 Enclosure test carried out at 1.5 PFA.
