Hydrobar Electrically operated flow limiter

• RYL Hydrobar electrically operated flow restrictor valves are fully hydraulically operated control valves, operating in combination with an orifice plate, which limits the flow rate to a preset maximum value which can be adjusted independently of variations in demand. If the flow rate is below the required set point, the valve will be fully open. The pilot circuit is also equipped with a solenoid and flow throttle to provide on-off control in response to signals.
• The valve is designed to reduce pressure loss, noise and cavitation-related damage. The RYL control valve is completely modular and can be used for a wide range of applications
• Epoxy coating according to FBT technology, color blue RAL 5005.
• Internal and external application with a minimum coating thickness of 250 μm.
• Epoxy coating, approved for drinking water, electrostatically applied according to DIN 3476-1.

Compliance with standards:

• Tested according to EN 12266.
• Face-to-face dimensions ISO 5752-1. 

Approval:

• ACS (Certificate of Health Conformity). 

Information for sizing:

• Upstream, downstream pressure and flow are necessary for correct sizing.
• The AC device is recommended against cavitation and in the event of low flow.
• A minimum length of 5 DN between the valve and the diaphragm and 3 DN downstream of this is recommended for best accuracy.

Flow driver adjustment:

• The diaphragm is calculated and machined according to the maximum flow rate. A range of value adjustment is possible according to the valve chart provided.
• Flow rate adjustment over range: • 1 to 2.5 m/s • 2 to 4 m/s
• Factory pre-setting: specify the flow rate setting value when ordering

Electric control characteristic:

• Voltage: 24 V DC, 24 V/50 Hz, 230 V/50 Hz. other voltages on demand.
• Power consumption: AC inrush (VA) 24, AC sustain (VA) 17 (8 W), DC hot/cold coil 8/9 W.

Conditions of use:

• Maximum temperature: 70°C.
• Minimum operating pressure: 1.2 bar.
• Maximum operating pressure: 25 bars.
