Electrically operated downstream hydrobar

• The electrically operated RYL Hydrobar Aval valves are a 100% hydraulically operated control valve that maintains downstream pressure at a preset value regardless of variations in demand. Thanks to the electrical control, the valve can close or open, in response to a signal sent from the remote control or by an external controller. If the downstream pressure drops below the pilot set point, the valve will close tightly, ensuring proper operation even in static conditions.
• Normally equipped with visual position indicators, body manufactured from epoxy coated ductile iron and stainless steel internals.
• The valve is designed to reduce pressure loss, noise and cavitation damage. The RYL control valve is completely modular and can be used for a wide range of applications
• Epoxy coating according to FBT technology, color blue RAL 5005.
• Internal and external application with a minimum coating thickness of 250 μm.
• Epoxy coating, approved for drinking water, electrostatically applied according to DIN 3476-1.

Compliance with standards:

• Tested according to EN 12266.
• Face-to-face dimensions ISO 5752-1. 

Approval:

• ACS (Certificate of Health Conformity). 

Information for sizing:

• Upstream, downstream pressure and flow rate are necessary for correct sizing.
• The AC anti-cavitation device is recommended for resistance against cavitation and precise regulation in low flow cases.
• A minimum length of 3 DN in upstream of the valve is recommended for better accuracy.

Pilot adjustment ranges Upstream:

• Blue spring: from 0.7 to 7 bars.
• Red spring: from 1.5 to 15 bars.
• Higher values up to 25 bar on request.
• Values below 0.7 bar available with high sensitivity drivers.

Electric control characteristic:

• Voltage: 24 V DC, 24 V/50 Hz, 230 V/50 Hz. other voltages on request.
• Electric consumption: AC inrush (VA) 24, AC maintenance (VA) 17 (8 W), DC hot/cold coil 8/9 W.

Conditions of use:

• Maximum temperature: 70°C.
• Minimum operating pressure: 0.7 bar.
• Maximum operating pressure: 25 bars.
